[support] networking w/ ebase runtime?

Does anyone have experience doing ebase in multi-user mode over a network with the ebase runtime?  Is such a thing possible?  A client is interested in making this happen with PCs, if its possible.  Seemed to me you'd need to be able to direct the runtime from a client machine to where it's hosted, among other things.
