You might have to open the file. Ebase doesn't open all the files in the set at once, only as required. Select File>Open, navigate to your ebase directory and open the file. > > Carl says: >>>Now, navigate back to the Names file, open the scriptmaker and select > >the "150" script. Highlight the second row that calls the external > >script. >> > >Maryl's reply: >I went to scriptmaker and found the "150 Go to Import 1 File". I must be in >the wrong place because there was no "second row" that calls the external sc >ript. I selected "edit" and saw that the definition in Names .102 for the >subscript "150 Go to Import 1 File" says: >Enter Browse Mode >Perform Script [Subscripts, External: "import1_.102(*)"]. This is the second step that Carl is referring to. Select it, click the Specify: button, click External Script, and in the resulting dialog, confirm that it is referring to the file Import1_.103 and the script named 150 Go to Import1 file. > > >Carl says: <<In the specify box near the bottom, click on it and click on > >the external script option. This will bring up a box that describes the > >file in which the external script lives and the script that is called. > >Make sure it calls the Import1 file and the "Go to Import Menu" script. > >Maryl says: As I said before, I don't see the "external script option >anywhere." You noted the correct line above, to Perform Script. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
