One more thing to bear in mind.  Ebase keeps sequential record numbers
for you, but if you delete a record, those old numbers don't get
re-used.  So you can end up with big gaps in the numbers.  That isn't a
problem as far as Filemaker is concerned (or any other relational
database for that matter), but it ain't clean.

As Walt has pointed out, the record ID in version 2 is VERY different
and would likely drive you crazy if you want sequential numbers.
