That's correct, the runtime applications won't recognize files which 
weren't packaged with that solution.

When using the option to import from v1, the application opens the 
files. This won't work with the runtime. To import data using the 
runtime, you'll have to use the option to import external data. This 
isn't as smooth because it requires you to map the fields from v1 to 
v2, but it will work.
