That's correct, the runtime applications won't recognize files which weren't packaged with that solution. >I was hoping that perhaps when 2.0 came out I could upgrade and move >at the same time. After identifying that the version I >want to import was 1.03, the wizard failed with a message like "unable >to read the disk" - which struck me as odd, but there we are. > When using the option to import from v1, the application opens the files. This won't work with the runtime. To import data using the runtime, you'll have to use the option to import external data. This isn't as smooth because it requires you to map the fields from v1 to v2, but it will work. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
