The process that parses out the import data and assigns it to ebase fields looks at the Country field and if it's US, USA, or blank, takes only the first 5 characters of the zip code into the ebase field. This works for US Zip+4 codes that need to be separated into the Zip\Postal Code and Zip4 fields. For postal codes other than US, make sure the country has a value (I guess Canada or UK for the 3-space-3 postal code) and the postal code will be inserted whole. -- -- Dave Shaw H4 Consulting tel: 206-954-7526 fax: 206-625-1338 ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
