I apologize for asking what is probably a rudimentary question: how can I do a search for members whose dues payment has lapsed or is in the grace period and ONLY get records for the last payment?
When I do the search, using the Query tool and first selecting "members: lapsed" and then adding a new request with "members: grace," the file that I export (for a letter merge) has the records for the people that I asked for, but it also exports the payment info. for each payment that member has ever made. This means that when I do the merge (in Word), there is a record for each person and each payment made, when what I really want is only the record for the person with his or her last recorded payment. Make sense? What Find criteria do I need to add?
