Hi there,

For those of you interested in migrating your ebase data from version 1.0 to
2.0, we've just posted a new version of ebase 2.0 to the download page.
Shortly after the software was made available, a user found a problem with
the import module when it was used with the runtime engine (it couldn't find
ebase v103 files). We just posted a bug fix for the import tool so now you
can move all of your data from v1 to v2.

To download ebase 2.0, go to http://www.ebase.org.

For those of you still waiting for a few more guinea pigs to try out ebase
2.0 before you make the plunge, we will be posting ebase 2.01 on before
April 10. It will include fixes to all of the bugs users find. The good news
is that more than 500 organizations have downloaded ebase in the first week
(quadruple our normal download rate) and no major bugs have been found.

And, if you haven't been back to the ebase Community Support site, we've
opened The Studio, a place where registered ebase 2.0 users can find the
resources and tools they need to use ebase 2.0 more effectively, including a
place to subscribe to the ebase 2.0 support email list. We'll be actively
encouraging ebase 2.0 users to post their questions there from now on.

You can register your copy of ebase (and get a Studio Account) here:

http://www.ebase.org/register/index.htm

We're very excited at the response to ebase 2.0 we've received. On behalf of
the entire ebase team, thank you for all your kind words.

Marshall
