You'll want to modify one of the solicitation letters in the names file to have the text you want plus the merge field SUM:LastYear$ which contains the total payments for the last fiscal year.   You'll need FileMaker (not the runtime application) to do that. Follow instructions in the ebase manuals for sending solicitation letters to get the letter set up the way you want.
