Jeff,

I believe what ebase does is this: if it finds a bad email address, it
marks that record as having a bad email address (in the Research? field,
usually on one of the Data Entry Screen). Once thus marked, that record
is skipped any time you try to send an email, whether or not you run the
"check email addresses" option. That is, even the send option without
running the check email addresses will look to see if any records are
marked as quesitonable and skip them.

Of course, if you run the check email address option after correcting an
invalid address, the record is then unmarked, and you can then send to
it again. Without changing the email address, you could find those
folks whose email address has been marked as bad but isn't and do a
global replace to unselect that value. But beware that b/c it is based
on a value list, a global replace would change all records in the found
set to the same value.

HTH,
Carl
