> Okay, which is the best method to use: "Query" or "Find" to get the most > accurate reports? > -- Since Query just uses Find, there is no "best method".
Anything you can do with one you can do with the other, except that the layouts in Query give easier access to some fields making it easier to do a particular query. You may have to do multiple Finds to get the same results of a single Query. Since some fields are indexed and some are not, either Query or Find can result in slow performance. Unless you look at the definitions of the fields, you just have to learn by experience, which fields to use if you are in a hurray and which to avoid. For some queries you can't easily avoid using the unindexed fields. ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
