Jen, Our organization has had a lot of success doing complicated searches such as yours by exporting data from ebase and putting it another database. Databases such as MySQL (www.mysql.org) and Microsoft Access easily answer complicated questions like yours.
I would export the ebase names and payments tables. Then using SQL, I would start by running a query to find the people you don't want: Q1: SELECT Donor_Number FROM Payments WHERE Post_date NOT BETWEEN #7/17/200# and #7/18/2002# GROUP BY Donor_Number Then, I would use a second query to find to suppress the previous query from the master list: SELECT Names.* FROM Names LEFT JOIN Q1 ON [Q1].[Donor_Number]=[Names].[Donor_Number] WHERE (([Q1].[DonorSN]) Is Null); Andrew Ziem, Admin.
