a few months ago, I was very pleased with myself because I figured out (with the help of some suggestions on this list) how to use filemaker Pro to modify the contact Boolean fields in the data screen layout of ebase 1.03. I changed the wording of the contacts so that they were relevant to our primary data keeping tasks. Instead of Solicit and phone, the contact Booleans all say something relevant to our organization. I tested it all and I was able to search and execute finds based on the Boolean flags that I had created.
Now, I would like to do an export for mailing labels, and I would like to use include those check marked fields as one of the fields that ebase outputs. I know they were originally called Contacts: or something similar. How do I go through and identify the field names that each of these checkboxes represents. I know it has something to do with the layout mode in the Data Entry screen, but I don't know how to get the specific field name that is used. Thanks in advance for your help. ~Rodney ------------------ Reminder to each recipient: To change your list account preferences, go to http://email.sparklist.com/scripts/lyris.pl?enter=support and enter the email address you used to subscribe to the ebase support list:: [email protected] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------------------------------- ebase - Relationship Management for Nonprofits, http://www.ebase.org ---------------------------------------------------------------------
