You'll need to build a relationship between the names file and your
NCOA file based on the Record ID. Then you can use the Replace
command (Calculated) to replace the value of the memo field with
[Memo field in names] & [NCOA relationship::related memo field in the
NCOA file]

you can fill in the details between the brackets, but the idea is
that you calculate a new value of the memo field which is the current
value of the memo field plus whatever you want to add.

Back up your file set before you do this. The calculated replace
command is dynamite and it's easy to make a serious mistake.
