Anyone with thoughts/solutions on using Ebase on the go? I would like to
have my Ebase info with me as I travel on fundraising trips and to be able
to update/add info in a taxi, bus or subway between meetings, without
carrying a laptop (Palm V?). I would also prefer having database
functionality (multiple field searches and filters).
ebase is a pretty big model to stuff into a handheld. At best I think you will get name and address info, and possibly a couple of the related tables for payment and action info. In any case the interface won't be transferrable very easily. My thought would be to try FileMaker Mobile. If you have some success, I'm sure folks on the list would be very interested in the story.
