You're completely correct. The documentation for the network at my work stated the wifi router was set for WPA2 but on inspection it was just WPA. I have since changed the router to be WPA-Mixed and both now WPA and WPA2 work with the OpenMoko (just change the proto option). Thanks for noticing my bad. Fixing the wiki now.
