by the way, should it be possible to mount a jffs2 file on the
host system, like:

# losetup /dev/loop0 
openmoko/Openmoko-openmoko-devel-image-glibc-ipk-P1-Snapshot-20080721-om-gta01.rootfs.jffs2
 
# mount -t jffs2 /dev/loop0 /mnt
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop0,
       or too many mounted file systems
 
as you see, the host refused to mount the file, allthough I have loaded.
the jffs2-filesystem.
