As someone already pointed out, xrandr ought to work. Right. Jan Lübbe has tried to create this xglamo-beta package, but had linking errors with tslib when compiling it. So if someone else finds out what causes them and fixes it, nothing stands in the way of a proper Xglamo Debian package. This does not mean that it will be included in the official Debian repository. It is based on an outdated copy of the Xorg source, something that we try to avoid. I have heard that some people are trying to make a “proper Xorg driver“ module for Xorg that can be packaged separately, just like the normal drivers (fbdrv, intel, etc.) are packaged.
