That was not the problem but the lack of gsm0710muxd altogether, and I was originally wondering why it was left out from the newest FDOM. But I'd guess it's because FDOM was now made in the right way for the first time (a script to run on top of pure 2008.9), and not everything has been implemented. However, I installed gsm0710muxd from angstrom repositories now, and have both GSM working via it (qpe/qtopia) and GPRS configure to use it. But for some reason I cannot actually establish the GPRS connection: --- Nov 8 15:50:44 om-gta02 local0.info /usr/sbin/gsm0710muxd[1419]: gsm0710muxd.c:693:c_alloc_channel(): Connecting /dev/pts/2 to virtual channel 2 for 1226152244 on /dev/ttySAC0 Nov 8 15:50:44 om-gta02 local0.info /usr/sbin/gsm0710muxd[1419]: gsm0710muxd.c:1410:extract_frames(): Logical channel 2 opened Nov 8 15:50:47 om-gta02 daemon.notice pppd[2252]: pppd 2.4.3 started by root, uid 0 Nov 8 15:50:48 om-gta02 local2.info chat[2254]: timeout set to 15 seconds Nov 8 15:50:48 om-gta02 local2.info chat[2254]: send (\K\K\K\d+++ATH^M) ... What could cause the config-requests timeout? Phone calls continue to work after fiddling with the GPRS. -Timo _______________________________________________ support mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openmoko.org/mailman/listinfo/support
