Here's my setup: I have a low-end dell PC with 3 interfaces. I have a Proxim VLAN-capable 802.11g AP. VLAN 1 on the AP is the privileged LAN I use my laptop on and connects to the same 10.0.0.0/24 subnet my FreeBSD server uses. The 3rd NIC is on the 10.1.1.0/24 subnet, which is VLAN 2 on the AP. I use an 8-port SMC VLAN capable switch. I had gotten annoyed at needing 3 NICs with my old firewall SW (gnatbox) and they don't yet support VLAN, so I decided to try pfsense. First I got it working with 3 interfaces and then last night I decided to try converting to native VLAN, so I did this:

created vlan0 as vlan #1 on fxp0
created vlan1 as vlan #2 on fpx0
interface assignment of LAN => vlan0
interface assignment of OPT1 => vlan1

Had a couple of glitches, but it works. Here's the problem though: just upgraded to 0.79.4 and the console said something about mismatches and started up the interface assignment code, so I had to re-enter the interface assignment (but didn't need to re-enter the VLANs). Is this going to happen anytime I reboot? Any ideas?
