Please don't test by plugging cables. Replugs will only be handled corrctly with an upcoming version due to a bug fixed in cvs already. Instead please try rebooting or hit disconnect / connect at status>interfaces please. The renew script has a timeout of 30 seconds and is now backgrounded, so it should be able to update the account as soon as the connection is available. Can you please test it this way?

Any more Files to update? I have 0.89.4, no use_old_dyndns One more sugestion: Maybe it is a good idea to let /etc/rc.newwanip sleep for some seconds befor doing all updates to give mpd time to set up the interface properly?
