[pfSense Support] A question about Developers Edition

Hi!
I would like to ask some infos about the developers Edition: it it planned a new release of thet image after the 1st Jan (that is, after the v1.0 will be released)? If not, can I use the last one, and than update that one? I would like to create a personalized version, but using the most updated pfsense version....
