Just a note... Tried installing from Jan 1st 2am LiveCD (fresh install on older P2-233). I couldn't do it with the WAN (fxp0) connected to the cablemodem. Did the old "up - down - up - down" routine nonstop. I tried all the diffent boot-up modes.
I was able to install by leaving the WAN cable disconnected. I set it to a static IP, connect the cable, and rebooted. It was okay then. WAN DHCP doesn't seem to work right.
