Well, after doing a fresh install of the
pfsense.iso to:
1.0-BETA1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-1-24-06

I still see no logs showing up in the "firewall"
filter tab.

I can't honestly see why this is happening ... as
shown below the pflog0 interface is seeing traffic
to the pf and clearly it is processing packets.

I also see that the process is running with:
# ps -ef | grep tcp
ps: Process environment requires procfs(5)
  228 con- S      0:00.02  /usr/sbin/tcpdump -l -n
-e -ttt -i pflog0
  229 con- I      0:00.01  egrep -e
IGMP|TCP|UDP|ESP|IGRP|IGMP|ICMP|esp|tcp|udp|icmp|igmp|igrp

Thoughts .... ANYONE????
