I have 2 interfaces:
1 - WAN - 200.200.200.2/26 - GW:
200.200.200.1
2 - LAN - 192.168.1.1/24
I need on clients on LAN to authenticate via PPPoE server.
I've enabled PPPoE server on VPN menu, choose interface LAN, now is the problem:
- what I need to specify:
subnet netmask?
server address? - "Enter the IP address the PPPoE server should use on its side
for all clients."
remote address range? - "Specify the starting address for the
client IP address subnet."
At this moment, I'm testing with local users. When I specify a fixed IP
address for the user, I can successfully authenticate on windows XP
client machine. When I leave the user IP blank, the XP can
authenticate. But I don't want to specify a fixed IP for each user.
