I'm not sure how to debugger this one given the total lockup.... can the pfSense kernel be built with KDB and DDB with ALT_BREAK_TO_DEBUGGER so we can break into the debugger from the serial console? my experience shows that even if the keyboard is locked up, the serial console debugger is still available with CR ~ ^b key sequence.
There have been some random lockup reports for 6.1-PRE so who knows.... might just have been bad luck. I'll just keep an eye out.
