Indeed, but it's a requirement for some environments. the opportunity to get certified isn't extremely unlikely, actually. It's not very likely, but not unimaginable. There was an opportunity for m0n0wall to get certified, completely at the cost of one business that was going to put out a huge deployment in many government agencies somewhere in Europe. They required ICSA certification, but there was more than enough money in the project to get and keep m0n0wall certified. None of the developers responded to assist, though... so it didn't happen. I assure you if a similar opportunity came up here post-1.0, it would definitely happen.
