That was it. I must have disabled the ftp helper on the lan interface.
It works fine now.

Dual WAN and ftp won't work together nicely. Enable the ftphelper at LAN. It
should send out all ftp traffic to your WAN1.

Tried your suggestion and restarted pfsense.
Version is now RELENG_1_SNAPSHOT_03-26-2006
Any other ideas?
