The BIOS sees the drive properly and the system can boot enough to start
decompressing the kernel; the system that works sees this:

acd0: CDROM <LITE-ON CD-ROM LTN-489S/8DS2> at ata0-master UDMA33
ad4: 238418MB <WDC WD2500JS-75MHB0 03.01C03> at ata2-master SATA150
SMP: AP CPU #1 Launched!
Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ad4s1a

The current OS on the working box shows up as 6.1-PRERELEASE, the one
that's dead is showing up as 6.0-RELEASE-p6. Both machines were
installed about a month ago from CD, and have been upgraded using the
cvs script.. The part that has me confused now, is I can't reinstall as
it's not seeing the hard drive, as is freebsd6 boot cd.. Any advice?
