Pretty good track record.
Did I get you correct: you used a swap space or a real r/w partion on a CF card, and never had a failure in 5+ years? I'm wondering what the r/w behaviour for a non-busy swap partition is. I suspect pfsense on 128 MByte wrap needs only a tiny swap to run stable. I've got a 1 GByte fast (20 MByte/s claimed) CF card, so I'm wondering whether adding a swap partition to a flash image would work/be a good idea. -- Eugen* Leitl leitl http://leitl.org ______________________________________________________________ ICBM: 48.07100, 11.36820 http://www.ativel.com 8B29F6BE: 099D 78BA 2FD3 B014 B08A 7779 75B0 2443 8B29 F6BE
