The ports tree is entirely empty, IIRC. What you're getting into is entirely unsupported, and has the potential to break things. You should be able to 'pkg_add -r asterisk' and get the packages of asterisk and all dependencies. Alternatively, see http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/ports.html
