SIP and NAT can be very painful. Try STUN or setup the sip proxy package for pfsense?

its a pretty simple setup. Ip Phones | NAT | WAN | Asterisk in a data center (no nat) It was working #1 with my previous NAT. Thank you :) GMT sai a écrit : need to have some idea of the network layout. where is the ip phone , where is the asterisk server? sai On 9/22/06, Guillaume Mathieu-Thérien <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hi, I'm having a problem with my SIP Phones and Asterisk. I think it's due to a timeout. If I boot my phones, everything is OK for between 30 minutes and an hour. Then, my Asteirsk tells me "UNREACHABLE". If I restart the phones, everything is Ok. I've read it could be something with the UDP Timeout. I've created a rule like this : UDP ... WAN ADDRESS ... * ... 10.1.1.61 (Phone ip) ... * ... * with a very long state timeout (86400). It don't seem to work. Does anyone have a guess on what it could be, and what should I do with this? I would appreciate this a lot !
