actually i saw this just after i installed the 9-6 snapshot that included the openvpn/openssl security fix. same symptoms, and same fix.
at the time i figured i was just being retarded about something, or that the problem was exacerbated by the fact that my pfsense had been upgraded repeatedly since beta 3.
