Glad it works for them. Shaping has never been known to work with
bridging. It's not that it _doesn't_ work, it's more that it wasn't
coded in such a way to be fully compatible. It'll shape something in
some direction, but I make no guarantees as to what and which.

I also had luck with traffic shaping working on a pair of bridged VLANs for a while. I was using traffic shaping for voip prioritization over a slow connection. I emailed the list back in the first part of september when shaping on my bridged line was squashed.
so since then we've just added a dedicated slow line for voip
/me patently awaits the return of shaped bridges :)
