Why does the RRD tool ping the WAN gateway? And can it be switched off?
I have 2 pfsense boxes setup in a failover config using carp addresses, both these boxes are configured to share 1 IP address from the ISP (MAC spoofing and 2 Switch ports) however with the RRD tool pinging the WAN interface the ISP switch is getting confused because both WAN interfaces are "talking" at the same time.
