[pfSense Support] modulate state + bridge

Hi guys,
It seems that setting the "modulate state" option rather than "keep 
state" for TCP connections doesn't work across bridged interfaces in 
pfSense (rel 1.0.1, filtering bridge).  The packets never seem to appear 
on the other side of the bridge.

Is this for the same reason that "synproxy" doesn't work?  (More out of 
curiosity than anything...)
