Hi there Pfsense.
First of all GREAT Product ! - We are testing it in our Hosting centers in Copenhagen. Until now we have absolutely no problems ! Except in VM Ware ( No Gigabit interface support (Vmxnet) and vlans not supported on the supported amd adapter (100 Mbit)) (HP Proliant DL360 + HP MSA1500 Fiber San / Qlogic HBA) But we have a question about vlans: Our dream is, to have a pfsense firewall with only 2 interfaces (Wan/LAN) On the LAN interface we would like to make several virtual IP's AND On the LAN interface we would like to make several VLANS. With a cross over cable on the LAN interface to our VM Ware Server farm. Here comes the question ;-) If a server gets the wrong IP Address but the right VLAN, will it be able to see the hosts on an other VLAN (Since we have only one LAN adapter on the LAN side.) ?????? 3 People have searched the internet for a Monowall / Pfsense "VLAN-HOW-TO" We have found next to nothing about VLANS.
