I am running pfsense-1.0.1 and want to recompile the kernel.
I have the dev iso installed and running. If I run build_updates.sh it gives me a current snapshot which seems to be running fine. How do I do build an older version , say 1.0.1, rather than the current snapshot? I have updated FreeBsd by running cvsup with supfile containing *default host=cvsup2.freebsd.org *default prefix=/usr *default release=cvs tag=RELENG_6_1 I change the settings in conf/pfsense.6 and that seems to work in changing the kernel. (I found that if I comment out #makeoptions DEBUG=-g in the kernel conf, the kernel compiles much quicker, which is nice because I got a slow machine) So far so good. I was hoping that I'd be able to get pfSense 1.0.1 by setting PFSENSETAG in pfsense_local.sh but that does not seem to work because I end up with a current snapshot. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
