I don't get how the 2 machines are connected to each other but you probably are
missing some routes somewhere.

Please provide more details, maybe a small ascii diagram to describe the
topology.

Betreff: [pfSense Support] Routing problem.

Hi.

My routing problem:

router internet with .20.145 (an ethernet connection from fiber).

Pfsense machine1 with 4 eth.
LAN with 1.1 xl0
WAN with 27.41 with default gw .20.146 in xl1
OPT1 with 20.146 with default gw .20.145 in xl3 Default gw .20.145 This machine
run's fine if I put 1.1 like gw in my box.
If I make an "arp -i xl1 -a", nothing is displayed and nothing (no error...
nothing).
WAN and OPT1 has any to any rules open in firewall section.
Disable the firewalls filter altogether in Advanced menu is activated.

Pfsense machine2 with 3 eth.
LAN with 7.1 xl0
WAN with 27.42 xl2
Default gw .27.41
If I make here an "arp -i xl2 -a", i can see the mac of .27.41 and .27.42.

Whith this config, i cannot "see" anything in Internet (using machine2 like
gateway for private lan); no ping to public IP... nothing.

Anybody could help me with this please? What is escaping me?

Thank you very much.
