I have a few questions about Pfsense full versus Pfsense embedded.

1. What, specifically, are the differences between the full and
embedded versions? Are there features available in one that is not
available in the other? Do they both support the same hardware?

2. Do both the embedded and full version write their log files to
memory?

3. Is it suitable to use the full version on a disk on module or micro
drive if I have a big enough solid state storage device?

4. How do I update the embedded version? Do I just download and
install the files listed under update?

5. What are the advantages and disadvantages of the full and embedded
versions?

I appreciate any answers or links that you may be willing to provide.
I'm asking because I'm wondering if it is feasible or even a good idea
to replace the small ide hard drives on some of my customers pfsense
boxes with 1 or 2 gig disk on module solid state media.

Thanks,

Vaugh Reid III
