Thanks for the info. I was just wondering at this point. I had a fire
dept ask me about the feasibility because of interest on their part
about using a multi-wan firewall deployed with their command vehicle to
establish a mobile and somewhat fast Internet gateway that could easily
be deployed on the scene of a large fire, or other emergency. My
immediate thought was a multi-wan cellular broadband powered embedded
fanless firewall with wireless card and hi-gain antenna for a quick fix
network in a box that could provide an emergency worker hotspot with
internet and VPN capabilities back to the home network and resources. At
this point, satellite is not an option for them, but they have a couple
mobile cellular accounts.

A couple questions, how large of a bounty would be required, and are
there any other products out there that can currently use multiple
cellular broadband modems as wan connections? (I'm aware of the dlink
3g routers and one from Linksys). Hmmm..... I suppose that I could get
a couple dlinks and place them in bridge mode to a pfsense box. Just
thinking out loud at this point.
