Evening everyone,
I have been doing some remote logging w/ a couple core pfSense boxes
and I am getting this message:
>>> NBT UDP PACKET(137): QUERY; REQUEST; BROADCAST
WARNING: Short packet. Try increasing the snap length
I tried adding -s 128 to the tcpdump lines in [/etc/inc/filter.inc]
it seems to overcome some of the repeated messages, but also produced
undesired results in the GUI log view. No idea what is causing this,
but it seems to only happen on UDP (arrgh Microsquash) packets.
Regards,
