That restores the connection. (I initially did it on the LAN, but reconnected the LAN and did the same with the WAN, as soon as "ifconfig XXX up" was run it was up again.) What does that tell us? For the record I am now running RC2 on two sites, the other remains stable (as it has been for years...) curiously it is on a different ISP and ~50M wireless tunnel.
