Hi Folks:

I have one store which cannot get DSL or cable (over 20,000ft from the CO
and Comcast hasn't built infrastructure there yet) - no IDSL either.

We don't want to commit to terms for fractional T1; so I am left with two
options - Sprint CDMA EVDO USB card attached to a Draytek device or ISDN
until DSL or cable become available. There are no fixed wireless (WiMax or
even WiFi) ISPs available in the area either.

Fractional T is not an option because of expense and commitments. We only
need a temporary fix until AT&T and/or Comcast bring the infrastructure out.

ISDN as an internet access technology in the US faded away rather quickly as
soon as ADSL and cable became available (mid 90s); but it is apparently
still available. I have bought a lot of Draytek devices thanks to
reccomendations from the irc channel; the ADSL models indicate compatibility
with *european* ISDN standards but say nothing of American ISDN standards.
Does anyone know if these work with American ISDN standards as well?

Let me know, thanks --

Gabe
