Anyone have a bright idea for performing a regular (non-embedded) install on a headless machine that completely lacks VGA/PS2/USB headers? It has a 2.5" drive in it as well as a CF slot - I've gotten the embedded build up and running fine through the CF slot, but that seems to have all the tools I'd need to transfer it over (fdisk, etc.) stripped out.
I don't have any similar hardware with any of the requisite attachments, so simply transferring the drive wont' be easy. I've not mucked about with the internals of pfSense as much as I'd like, so I don't know how much non-portable data is used for the install. Would it handle changing IDE controllers (i.e. from a Thinkpad to some random other (supported) chipset) gracefully? I should think so, but seem to recall attempting that on another pfSense install months/years back and failing.
