I mean the netstat output from your pfSense box. That netstat output
appears to be from a linux machine.

"default" has the correct gateway entry for the client, so it's making it as
far as the pfSense box yet the static route to the remote network seems to be being
ignored.

What's netstat -lr say about your route? Pay specific attention to the
interface that the route is applied to. I ran into a really weird issue
with creating a static route yesterday and I'm going to try and
re-create it in my test environment today.
