This seems to be coming up more and more lately (which is a good thing).
 Our official policy is that the builder system is not supported but since
the demand is growing I will start a howto on our devwiki that explains the
various processes and how to bootstrap you own code on top.

be working on this off and on during the day as I tackle other items on my
list.
