Hello,
as i ask the List Year, i still have the Problem with an Polish Provider
and the Hardware.
I have a PFsense wall with a Jetway Board (1,2 GHz 2x GB Ethernet).
The Provider uses dhcp and the PRovider inteface has 100 mBit
Full-Duplex. No PPoE or something, direct IP via DHCP (auth is done via
MAC, because only one MAC works).
Last i thought, the Problem could be solve by manully set the media opt
(ifconfig re0 media 100BaseTX mediaopt full-duplex)
This doesn't work.
The Link chages from up to down every 30 seconds which causes 100% CPU Time.
I figured out that deactivating dhcp on WAN interface solve this issue.
But if the Provider change the IP (which happened twice a Year). If
this happen, ican not access the Wall and i don't like to fly from
germany to polish for changing an IP address.
So my question is, did you have any Idea why this happen with dhcp ?

1.2-BETA-2
