With the very high latency of satellite connections, the default state
keeping mechanism may not work very well because it may prematurely
close connections. On the Advanced page, there is an option to change
it, I don't have a box in front of me right now but look for state
options and there is one there for high latency.
Try that and see if the problem persists. If it does, post any
DHCP-related items from the system log from the time it occurs.
