I've got a Realtek nic that is not playing nice with a cable-modem. The System Log shows the interface is going up and down a couple times per minute. I intend to replace the NIC (when I'm not 200 miles away), but for now I'd like to try and for the speed/duplex to see if that will stabilize it. I found a link that appears to address this, but it's dead. Anyone have a working link, or information/syntax about how to do this?
