Hi,
We have a Watchguard Firebox X700 as a Firewall/Gateway for a 10Mb
Synchronous link to internet.
We want to substitute this equipment and we are investigating the
open source solutions.
Our Firefox system have one public ip (195.22.21.218) and our ISP
give us a 14 block public ip's (195.22.20.97-195.22.20.110).
The pfSense is capable to make ip aliasing on public interface?
If so, how to do this on pfSense version 1.2?
You can use proxy ARP for those IPs, though depending on how your ISP
has them setup you may also be able to use VIP type "other" as well, if
they're routing them to your WAN IP.
You can't use CARP IPs unless they're within your WAN subnet. You still
can use CARP if the additional block is routed to your WAN IP so you can
add them as "other" VIPs or add them on a routed interface.
